This album came from situations, experiences, observations, wrong an right decisions made in life. We all have to endure at some point in many forms, so this visits many paths we all walk in life .
" The avoidance of truth & Reason "The ever so popular manipulation from every media outlet. The agenda driven purpose, to harm those with little or even less. WHO - HOW but Never WHY!, is our reaction an observation to the corrupt daily reporting. Reasoning WHY people risk their life's an their children's life in a dingy - HOW they're country is having democracy bombed into it !, raped an pillaged for resources BUT never WHY their anticipated armed response an their justified anger.
It also tips our hat to the band LOVE on the outro!!
The "Carrying the weight of" ( written on the evening of the Brexit result). The present Fire sale of our NHS , The Bus and Brexit lie. Decisions obliquely made an now imposed on all our children's futures, burdened, indebted for the wish of further education . . . imposed against the will of people an a whole nation that voted against it!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . We're all outsiders now!!
Looking inwards an watching the destruction of our own communities by MP's greed. Our once publicly owned assets belonging to the people of this country, sold an auctioned off to those with more than enough . . . . . Does Greed ever have enough?
"Difficulties of Knowing " being aware. The inability to help an the degradation an apathetic indifference.
"Snowballs & Servitude" ! Equates too the internal mind of self inducement of psychosis & paranoia, from the inner minds view and senses. My attempt to make a drug induced emotive experience in a musical format .
"Wait or Depart " - Childhood flashbacks of Waverley Train St.
As a child i loved the sound of movement. The excitement in observations of others that seemingly had purpose and direction looking like they where going somewhere better than the Leigh slums!.
Too many times in later life Train st always seemed to be places of sadness an regrets.Too many goodbyes an departures of loved ones an not enough greetings an welcoming . . . . . . . . . .
Train stations are also very Rhythmic - Just sit an listen one day.
So we near the end of the album " Distant Concerns Become Internal". The Inability of maself and others too dismiss oppression in it's many forms. To switch a TV channel/programs observation an instantly switch forward from atrocities an harm of others, too instantly switch to the importance of meaningless nothings. The incapacity of letting go. and the impact witnessed . .. . . Suppose i'm just too sensitive to ignore an dismiss easily.
SO this album was written to retain whats left of my deteriorating sanity, to lessen my burdened mind - with the hope that identification, possible help for others in anyway or format.
" Music to make the mind think an question one's self an others"
